Who We Are

We are a group of concerned community members in Malibu and the road safety advocacy organization, Streets Are For Everyone, working to get PCH fixed!

Formed following the horrific tragedy of four Pepperdine University seniors and sorority sisters being killed outside a sorority house on PCH by a driver speeding at 104 MPH, and after 10 years of attempts by members of the community to get Caltrans to take effective action on PCH after 13 year old, Emily Shane, was hit and killed in 2010.

We are calling on Caltrans to slow down PCH and fix it. We are calling on them to come to the table, with other civic leaders and organizations who are already there - pledging change and taking action.

We are implementing educational campaigns to curb the culture of speeding, and foster a culture of responsibility and awareness of risks among all road users.

We are advocating for equitable and just enforcement for those who would engage in deadly speeding, street racing and unsafe driving practices on PCH putting lives at risk
